Karnataka PUC 12th Pass Percentages Statistics of Previous Years – Karnataka State:
In 2016: According to reports, girl students have outshined boys this year too, with a pass percentage of 64.78% while the pass percentage boys remain at 50.02%. About 6,36,368 students took appeared for the for II PUC March examination, the total pass percentage being 64.48%.
The exams of the Second PUC was held from March 12 to March 28 in 1,032 centers in the state. A total of 6,36,368 students appeared for the exam, of which 3,64,013 have passed the exam.
The Dakshina Kannada district has topped the list once again, with the highest pass percentage (93.09 percent), while Udupi is in the second place with 90.35 percent and Kodagu is in the third place with 79.35 percent. Yadagiri district is the last place in the list with 44.16 percent.
The overall pass percentage is 60.54 percent, a dip by 3 percent from 2015.
In 2015: Over 6.1 lakh students appeared for the board exams, out of which 4.96 lakh were girls and 3.1 lakh were boys. The girls have got a pass percentage of 68.24 percent while the boys managed a pass percentage of 53.09 percent.
Karnataka recorded a pass percentage of 60.54 percent in 2015.
In 2014: 60.47 percent students have cleared the examination conducted by Karnataka Board.
A gender wise assessment of the results found girls faring better than the boys across the state. While the total pass percentage for girls is 66. 81, that for boys is 54.46.
In 2013: Out of 6,11,569 students 3,63,057, lakh students have passed Second PUC exam, which comprises of 66.51% girls and 52.72% boys. Compared to last year results of this year has increased by 2%.
